Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Urbana, IL. This role offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with travel benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• One year of Med Surg RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in Illinois.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist with procedures.
• Maintain safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients.
• Document vital signs, meds, treatments, and care outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers on care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Ensure infection control and PPE practices.
