Requirements include one year Med Surg RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS certification. NIHSS and ACLS are preferred; other certifications may be required. Travel-heavy schedule with night shifts and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Preferred: NIHSS certification, ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and monitor responses.
• Maintain safe environment for patients post-procedure.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan care.
• Manage multiple patients based on acuity and needs.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE usage.
