Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care in med-surg and telemetry units with strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• NIHSS certification (preferred).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification (preferred).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or procedures.
• Document patient information, vital signs, medications, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage multiple patients, prioritizing care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Adhere to infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with patients and families for transitions.
