Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Devils Lake, ND. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care in the medical-surgical and telemetry units, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Requirements include 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred NIHSS and ACLS certifications may be beneficial for this role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families; ensure understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for care planning.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients.
• Document patient information in the medical record accurately.
