Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a MedSurg RN for a travel assignment in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and a 13-week engagement with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

The travel RN will conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, document findings, and educate families. The position offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience
• Active RN license and BLS required
• Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Aids physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educates patients on procedures and post-discharge care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education plans.
