Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Johnstown, PA. The role involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, in a fast-paced Med Surg environment with patient assessments, procedures, and education.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and CPI, and are prepared for travel nursing requirements and potential PPE and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS, CPI certifications required.
• 13-week assignment duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations.
