GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med/Surg assignment in Jackson, MS. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and care for high-acuity patients in a Level I trauma environment.

The RN must have Mississippi licensure eligibility, 2+ years of experience, BLS, and Epic charting proficiency. Weekend coverage rotates with the core staff; start date is Oct 26, 2026.

Qualifications

• Current RN license eligible for Mississippi practice.
• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• At least 6 months of Level I trauma experience or equivalent high-acuity hospital exposure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Proficiency with Epic nursing documentation.
• Comfort caring for patients with central lines, chest tubes and telemetry.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients including postoperative and trauma cases.
• Manage patient assignments typically 1:5 to 1:6 based on acuity.
• Monitor patients with telemetry and respond to condition changes.
• Administer medications and document in Epic accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and unit leadership to coordinate care.
