Job summary

First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Medical-Surgical unit in Fort Wayne, IN. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and a 3-weekend rotation.

Active Indiana RN license and BLS are required, with 1.5 years of Level I-III care experience and hospital experience in a >450-bed facility preferred. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, manage medications and IV therapies, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of Level I, II, or tertiary care experience.
• Medical-Surgical experience in a hospital with >450 beds preferred.
• Indiana RN license in good standing and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Monitor COPD, CHF, ESRD and GI/neuro conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Float to other units as required by staffing.
