Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a skilled Travel RN for Med/Surg in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The assignment runs 13 weeks at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. ASAP start. Travel role with benefits and reimbursements.

The ideal candidate holds an active MS or compact RN license and has at least 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience. Certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days after start. No local travelers within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Active MS or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Medical Surgical unit on Floor 4 of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years are not eligible
• Requested time off (RTO) must be less than 1 week
• Driver’s license must be provided for consideration
• U.S. Social Security Number required for employment; Canadian SINs are not accepted
