Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Medical Surgical RN for a travel assignment in Mauston, WI. The role involves bedside care, assessments, and patient education in a fast-paced Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN will participate in discharge planning and documentation, with emphasis on safety and quality care.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Assignment runs 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, on 12‑hour daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications may be required.
• 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week typical for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients including pre- and post‑op.
• Administer and document prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
