Cross Country Nurses in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Med Surg unit. This assignment focuses on patient observation, assessments, and inpatient care in a hospital setting.

The RN will perform treatments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with the care team. Candidates must have an RN license in Colorado or a compact state, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least 5 years Med Surg/ER experience.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Colorado RN license or Compact state license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years Med Surg or ER experience; travel nurse experience preferred.
• Cerner EHR experience and basic computer skills expected.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments and administer treatments in the Med Surg unit.
• Monitor patients, administer medications, and manage IV/blood therapies.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and documentation protocols.
• Record cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythms as needed.
