Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The travel RN will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, providing bedside care in Med Surg with telemetry.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Med Surg RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. NIHSS/ACLS preferred to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered Med Surg care with telemetry monitoring.
• Assess, document, and report patient conditions and changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Address patient and family questions and ensure understanding of procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols at all times.
