MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. The role centers on Med/Surg care for adult patients, with routine treatments, post‑operative care, and close collaboration with the care team.

The assignment is 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts for 13 weeks, starting 10/12/2026, with competitive pay and comprehensive travel benefits. This is a travel position through MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
BLS certification required.
Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience.
Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult Med/Surg patients before and after procedures.
Perform routine treatments and post-surgical care as prescribed.
Assess patient health changes and administer medications.
Document care meticulously to ensure continuity across staff and physicians.
Collaborate with physicians and treatment team to plan care.
