Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Med Surg travel nurse for International Falls, MN. This 13-week assignment requires 1+ year of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and a 12-hour rotating shift with 36 hours weekly. You will perform assessments, administer meds, and educate patients and families.

The role offers travel benefits and the chance to work in a fast-paced Med Surg unit, with formal orientation and ongoing support from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Travel nursing assignment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Assist physician during examination and treatment; prepare equipment.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care.
