Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Henderson, Kentucky. You will join our team as a Med-Surg RN on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour days, working with a variety of adult patients before and after surgical procedures.

Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience are required, with other client-specific criteria to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• 18 months of recent experience in acute care Med/Surg.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
