Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Gadsden, Alabama. This role involves 36 hours per week across 12-hour days, with a 13-week duration and start on 09/28/2026.

Travel benefits and credentialing support are included. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have completed an accredited nursing program, possess BLS, and bring at least 18 months of Med-Surg/Acute Care experience to the client facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• 18 months of recent Med-Surg/Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other team members.
