Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. The RN will work a 12-hour day shift, 36 hours per week, on a 13-week assignment starting 10/26/2026.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has a nursing degree from an accredited program, and current BLS certification with at least 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience. Travel compensation includes housing options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Eighteen months of Acute Care Med/Surg experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
