MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Med Surg in Kansas City, Missouri. This assignment runs 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and offers travel-friendly benefits.

You must hold an active RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and have BLS. The role requires eighteen months of recent acute care Med-Surg experience and is with a Joint Commission-certified staffing partner.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Eighteen months of recent Med-Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
