MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Florence, Alabama. The position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, starting 11/02/2026.

Requires active RN license, BLS, and Med-Surg acute care experience. We offer weekly pay, credentialing support, private housing or housing allowance, comprehensive health and life insurance, travel reimbursements, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent Med/Surg acute care experience.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment to ensure continuity of care.
