Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Med Surg patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and perform assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems
• Respond to patient needs promptly and compassionately
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (compact or full license)
• Certifications: Current BLS certification; ACLS (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Other: Resume required; must be local in Texas or willing to work PRN assignments; must possess a compact or RN license in TX; excellent communication skills; ability to pass background check and drug screening
