Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage radiation therapy for oncology patients.
• Provide care for post-surgical patients, ensuring proper recovery protocols.
• Implement neutropenic precautions and maintain patient safety.
• Perform standard med-surg nursing duties in a 31-bed unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Experience with Oncology or MedSurg certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Meditech and chemo administration is preferred.
