• Work in an acute oncology unit within a hospital setting.
• Care for adult oncology patients requiring medical-surgical care.
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system.
• May float to other departments as needed.
• Possible on-call requirements during regularly scheduled shifts.
• Practice nursing functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care and treatment plans for oncology patients.
• Provide patient education and health counseling as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise support staff.
• Documentation must meet hospital and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to hospital mission, vision, and service behavior standards.
