American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Alaska. Requires chemo administration experience and an active AK RN license. Expect 3x12 hour nights, weekend coverage, and potential unit floats. Epic EMR for charting; Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital status noted.

First-time travelers are welcome. Residents must live 50+ miles away; travel benefits include housing allowance, licensure reimbursements, and per diem options.

Formación

• Active AK RN license required; license pending accepted during application but must be in hand for auto offer.
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Chemo administration experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical-surgical oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy administration.
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30, 3x12 hours.
• Weekend coverage required, potentially more frequent than every other weekend based on staffing needs.
• May float to like units within the facility to meet staffing needs.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• Facility is Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital recognized as a top hospital in Alaska.
• Scrubs provided by the facility.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel RN and must live outside a 50-mile radius.
• Time off requests are approved on an individual basis at time of offer.
