Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Manhattan, KS. The role involves performing screenings and diagnostic imaging, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiology staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires one year of Mammography experience, active state licensing, and BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year experience as Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations (Kansas).
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain medical imaging equipment and organize the procedure room.
• Monitor image quality during procedures for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention and PPE usage.
• Performs other duties as assigned within Mammography Technologists scope.
