Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Danville, Illinois. The role requires performing routine and complex breast imaging, reviewing radiology orders, and ensuring imaging quality while maintaining safety and equipment integrity.

Travel with Med Ninjas includes housing/travel support and benefits, with a strong focus on patient care and collaboration with radiologists and staff. Start ASAP and work 40 hours per week, dayshift, with 8-hour shifts.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree or certificate in radiologic technology.
• BLS certification required.
• IEMA radiography licensure required.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (Mammography) certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and complex breast imaging and related procedures according to protocols.
• Select mammography protocols to ensure optimal imaging.
• Review cases with radiologists and verify orders for accuracy and necessity.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and radiation protection during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and well-stocked.
• Assist in training students or new staff as needed.
• Coordinate with imaging team to meet productivity benchmarks.
