Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role involves operating advanced imaging systems, including Hologic equipment, to conduct screening and diagnostic mammography with a focus on image quality and patient comfort.

You will support radiologists with biopsy procedures, ensure protocol compliance, and collaborate with care teams. Required CA radiologic licensure and MRT as applicable; BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience required: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; Mammography Technologist experience preferred.
• Licensure & Certifications: CA Radiologic Technologist license required; MRT license required in CA; ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications required or preferred as noted.
• Certifications: BLS required; Fluoroscopy license and Venipuncture certification preferred in CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures as ordered.
• Assist radiologists with advanced breast imaging and biopsy procedures.
• Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Provide thorough patient education while maintaining privacy and comfort.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Collect and document relevant patient history and exam preparation details.
• Collaborate with care teams and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Maintain compliance with departmental and organizational standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology

CA Radiologic Technologist license

Mammography Technologist license (MRT)

ARRT-R (Radiography) certification

ARRT-M (Mammography) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
