Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Mammography Technologist to support our breast imaging team in Knoxville, TN. This 13-week contract assignment offers exposure to a top-tier healthcare organization and potential extension.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, assist with biopsies, and ensure high-quality images in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include ARRT (M) certification, BLS through the AHA, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (M) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within your modality.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and technique to obtain high-quality, diagnostic images.
• Provide compassionate, professional care while maintaining patient privacy and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure timely interpretation and follow-up.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, performing regular quality control procedures.
• Adhere to MQSA, ACR, and FDA guidelines and standards.
