Job summary

Unified Mammography Services, a part of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking a Travel Per Diem Mammography Technologist to support in-office breast imaging at Tuscon and Peoria, AZ. You will perform 3D digital mammography and work independently with radiologists.

Ideal candidates have ARRT Mammography credentials, 2+ years of experience, and strong English communication skills; clinical MQSA and safety standards are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate when needed.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
