Cross Country Allied seeks a travel Mammography Technologist for a 17-week assignment in North Bergen, NJ. The role involves performing mammography exams, supporting breast ultrasound, stereotactic procedures, and other radiologic guided work in the Breast Center.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT Radiography and Mammography certifications, and an active state license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT Radiography R and Mammography M certifications required.
• Current State Radiologic Technologist license as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations per ACR requirements.
• Support breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and breast localization procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic and screening mammography for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.

Job Summary:
Mammographer position located in North Bergen, NJ. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations in accordance with American College of Radiology (ACR) requirements. This role supports breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic guided procedures within the Breast Center. The technologist performs diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology; minimum 2 years prior experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography R and Mammography M Certifications; current State Radiologic Technologist License (as required).

• Additional Information: Performs mammographic imaging for breast needle localization procedures and stereotactic procedures, including setup and cleanup. Assists with procedures using ultrasound guidance and provides patient education on breast health and procedures. Collects and documents patient histories, ensures quality control testing, and maintains compliance with MQSA, ACR accreditation standards, and other regulatory requirements. Modifies patient care based on individual needs, considering factors such as age, culture, and sensory impairments. Supports quality assurance initiatives and assists in preparing cases, compiling statistics, and documenting procedures as delegated.
