Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a short-term assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate has 1 year of Mammography experience and current ARRT(M) certification with mammography registration. BLS and state licensing as required are also needed.

TheMammo Tech will operate mammography units, review requests, and ensure high-quality imaging while coordinating with radiologists. Positions include 40 hours per week and a start date of December 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Mammography experience.
• BLS and ARRT(M) certification with mammography registration.

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and understand anatomy and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography studies and ensure image quality for radiologist interpretation.

• Develop and retake mammograms as needed and forward to radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and operate McKesson PACS.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

We are looking for a Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Falmouth, MA. The right Mammo Tech should have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a Mammo Tech, you will be responsible for the use of a mammography unit and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

As a Mammo Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required


• Correctly interpret doctors\' written instructions


• Conduct mammography study and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures, determining necessary adjustments for optimum results


• Develop mammograms, observe mammogram results, retake mammograms as required, and forward completed studies to radiologist for interpretation


• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures


• Maintain accurate patient records


• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography, and state-specific licensing when required.

Mammo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Mammo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
