Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Eureka, California. This position covers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

As Mammo Tech, you will operate the mammography unit, ensure image accuracy, and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation. Requirements include ARRT (M) and BLS, plus state licensing where required, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Mammography required.
• BLS and ARRT (M) certification with registration; state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Correctly interpret doctors' instructions.
• Conduct mammography study and maintain production and quality of mammograms per standards.
• Develop mammograms, observe results, retake as needed, and forward to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment per standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
