Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The role requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (M), BLS, and state licensing as needed. You will operate mammography equipment, ensure image quality, and forward studies to radiologists.

The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with travel pay and tax-free stipends as applicable. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in mammography is required.
• ARRT (M) certification and BLS are required, with state licensing as needed.
• Ability to operate mammography equipment and maintain image quality.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions and perform mammography studies.
• Develop mammograms, observe results, and retake as needed for quality.
• Forward completed studies to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe working environment and accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
