Job summary

American Traveler in Evanston, IL is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 12-week contract requiring 1–2 years of mammography experience and prior travel assignment background. The role is a day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, within a radiology department, with EPIC EMR usage.

Candidates must have ARRT(M) and IEMA certifications, active state licensure if applicable, and BLS. A brief hospital interview is required; travel housing, licensure reimbursements, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Mammography experience required.
• New graduates not accepted.
• IEMA and ARRT(M) certification required.
• Active state license and certifications required; pending licenses/certifications not accepted.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross only.
• Prior travel assignment experience required, with a minimum of 1 completed travel assignment.
• EPIC proficiency required.
• Date of birth required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required, with 1 reference mandatory from the most recent travel assignment.
• Must complete an EKG test with a minimum score of 80%.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting.
• 12-week contract.
• Day shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Perform mammography imaging procedures within a radiology department.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• 50-mile local radius applies.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months to be eligible as a traveler.
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts.
• Must work at least 1-2 holidays during the contract.
• Candidates will complete a brief interview with the hospital, approximately 10-15 minutes.
