Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 9-week travel assignment in New York, NY. You will perform screening and diagnostic imaging, ensure image quality, and maintain radiation safety while delivering compassionate patient care.

Requirements include one year of Mammography experience, active state license, current BLS, and ARRT certification preferred. Travel pay is $2001 per week with comprehensive benefits and supportive clinical teams.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ARRT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions as they arise.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure machines function properly.
• Monitor image quality during procedures for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams as needed.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control.
• Practice infection prevention and PPE usage.
• Perform other duties within the Mammography Technologist scope.
