Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM. You will perform screenings and diagnostic imaging, explain procedures to patients, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires one year of Mammography Tech experience, a current state license, and BLS certification. ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain imaging equipment and keep the procedure room safe and efficient.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention, hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties within the scope of Mammography Technologists
