Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Islip, New York. The role involves performing mammograms, biopsies, and localizations within a dedicated breast imaging department.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 8 hours per shift. Requirements include ARRT radiology and mammography certifications, NY license, and documented mammography training hours plus CME credits within the past 2 years.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology certification and ARRT mammography certification required.
• New York State license with no expiration.
• Documentation of at least 200 mammograms within the past 24 months.
• MQSA compliance required with training hours.
• 40 hours of mammography training, 8 hours of digital mammography training, 24 CME credits in breast mammography within the past 2 years, and 8 hours of tomography training.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms, biopsies, and localizations.
• Support dedicated breast imaging department.
• Work a schedule of weekday shifts with alternating Saturdays.
