Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. As part of our Radiology team you will perform breast imaging, ensure patient safety, and deliver compassionate care while working with physicians and clinicians.

Requirements include one year of Mammography experience, a current state license, and a valid BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred; travel benefits, paid time off, and licensure/CEU reimbursement are provided.

Formación

• One year of Mammography Tech experience.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilidades

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain medical imaging equipment, ensure machines are functioning properly, and organize the procedure room for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor image quality during procedures, adjusting as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams as necessary.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties within the scope of Mammography Technologists.
