Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Mammography Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Miami, FL. The Mammography Technologist meets physician orders and assists with breast imaging procedures, ensuring quality, safety, and compassionate patient care from start to finish.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure
• Maintain imaging equipment and organize the procedure room
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures
• Practice infection prevention with PPE and isolation precautions
• Performs other duties within the scope of practice for Mammography Technologists
