Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Marble Falls, Texas. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the chance to work with a dedicated clinical team in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions if they arise.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain medical imaging equipment, ensure machines function properly, and organize the procedure room for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor image quality during procedures, adjusting as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice for Mammography Technologists.
