The Mammography Tech will perform screening and diagnostic imaging, ensure image quality, comply with radiation safety standards, and deliver compassionate patient care within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain and verify imaging equipment; ensure safety.
• Monitor image quality during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies and infection control.
• Practice infection prevention with PPE and hygiene.
• Perform other duties within scope of Mammography Technologists.
