Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mishawaka, IN. This role offers 36 hours per week on days, with 12-hour shifts, and opportunities to work with a dedicated clinical team.

Responsibilities include performing screenings, maintaining imaging quality, and ensuring radiation safety. Requirements: one year of Mammography experience, active state license, and BLS. ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions if they arise
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure
• Maintain medical imaging equipment and ensure machines are functioning properly
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions
• Performs other duties within scope of Mammography Technologists
