Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This 13-week contract involves 40 hours per week with day shifts, supporting breast imaging services for a top healthcare facility.

The ideal candidate will have completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registry, and state radiology registration, with preferred 2+ years of mammography experience, ideally in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized breast examinations to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist Radiologist in mammography exams including breast biopsies.
• Produce high quality films for radiologist evaluation.
• Complete patient education regarding the exam.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered work environment.
