Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammographer for a 13-week assignment in Ada, Oklahoma. The role focuses on performing mammography procedures in an outpatient setting with 12-hour days and a 36-hour minimum per week.

Candidates must have ARRT(R)(M) and BLS, graduate from Radiologic Technologist Program, and 1+ year mammography experience. Float rotation may be required; travel housing options and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• 1+ year mammography experience.
• Valid licensure for the position.

Responsibilities

• Observe patient safety before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Enter and verify data from physician orders.
• Schedule procedures and follow departmental protocols.
• Assist radiologists with needle localizations and biopsies.
• Maintain QC standards and troubleshoot equipment.
• Greet patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Transport patients, specimens, and films.
• Maintain flexible scheduling and department versatility.
• Question patients about pregnancy/nursing status.
• Prepare and stock rooms; ensure clean conditions.
• Submit charge sheets and participate in quality improvement.
