Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Proficiency in mammography and bone densitometry; knowledge of diagnostic and routine breast imaging; active professional license or certification with verification required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, applying radiation-protection practices, reviewing image quality, repeating studies when necessary, documenting services, maintaining equipment and supplies, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing a calm, courteous, and empathetic patient experience. Routine breast imaging is scheduled approximately every 30 minutes, diagnostic breast imaging approximately every 40 minutes, and bone densitometry scans approximately every 20 minutes. The role collaborates with a scheduler and another technologist.
