Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Hazard, Kentucky. This LTAC assignment requires an active RN license, BLS & ACLS, and 18+ months LTAC experience.

You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, provide comprehensive patient care, and use vents/trachs as needed. The role includes weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 LTAC patients daily.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, IV).
• Interpret telemetry readings and alert the medical team.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care.
• Manage admissions and discharges in a fast-paced LTAC unit.
