Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN for LTAC in Denver, CO. The role is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week on a night shift, requiring a valid RN license and at least 1 year of LTAC or similar high-acuity experience.

The ideal candidate will handle ventilator care, wound management, and complex patient needs, while coordinating with physicians, therapists, and case managers to support recovery and discharge planning. Benefits and pay details are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• 1 year of RN experience in LTAC or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications and monitor vital signs and labs.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care and wound management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality patient care.
• Document care activities in real time and maintain infection control protocols.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
