WSi Healthcare Personnel is recruiting a travel LPN for an 8-week assignment in Carrizozo, New Mexico. The role pays $58–$62 per hour with 13-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekday and weekend shifts are available.

In correctional healthcare, you’ll administer medications, perform medication passes, take vital signs, and document care. You’ll coordinate with providers and facility staff to address patient needs and changes in condition while maintaining accurate MARs.

WSi Healthcare Personnel is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for an 8-week travel assignment in Carrizozo, New Mexico. This position offers $58–$62 per hour, with 13-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Weekday and weekend shifts are available.

Full-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision benefits, and employees may elect to participate in WSi’s 401(k). Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying travel of 50+ miles.

Your responsibilities

This is a hands-on nursing position for an LPN who enjoys variety. Your responsibilities may include administering medications and completing medication passes, assisting with intake screenings and health assessments, obtaining vital signs, and gathering patient health information.

You may also respond to medical concerns and emergencies, communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the appropriate medical provider, monitor ongoing and chronic healthcare needs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including paper MARs. You’ll collaborate with healthcare and facility staff regarding patient needs.

New to correctional healthcare?

You don’t need a correctional background to be interested in this opportunity. If you have a strong LPN foundation, communicate well with providers and other professionals, feel comfortable working independently, and know when to elevate a patient concern, we’d like to talk with you.
