Job summary

ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week, night-shift travel contract in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will deliver direct patient care, administer medications, monitor conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team while working 36 hours per week.

Candidates must hold an active Nebraska (or compact) LPN license and current BLS/CPR certification, with at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska or compact state eligibility.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience (long‑term care, rehab, acute care, or similar settings preferred).
Ability to work night shifts consistently and manage a 36‑hour weekly schedule.
Strong communication, assessment, and critical‑thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring of patient conditions.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the care team.
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
Provide compassionate support to patients and families during overnight hours.
