Job summary

ConnectedHealth seeks a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week assignment in a Long-Term Acute Care facility near Columbia, Missouri. You’ll earn up to $40 per hour while delivering high-quality care to medically complex patients on a flexible 36-hour work week with day or night shifts.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, medication administration, patient monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Active Missouri LPN License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Assist with wound care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy within scope.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention standards.
