Qualifikationen

• Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
• RNC-OB Preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aufgaben

• Assume responsibility for nursing process and patient care in the L&D setting.
• Monitor mothers during labor and assist with delivery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide patient education and address psychosocial needs after delivery; coordinate care with the team.
